A. Power Clean x 1/Push Press x 1/Push Jerk x 3; rest 90 sec - 80% effort x 3
B. Push Press - build to a tough single in 5 max attempts - rest short; build fast
C. EMOM - [1 PC/2 PP] x 2 x 8 - make weight fast, no grunting or malalignment
A. #95 for all
B. #105/#125/#135/#145(F)/#140 (matches PR) <-- I think I would have succeeded at 145lbs if I had reversed the last two attempts. Felt like a rookie mistake.
C. #85 for the first three, got really fast and easy so I bumped it up to #95 for the last 5, still fast and tight
7 rds:
1 DB Power Snatch heavy R
25 m R arm waiters carry - same DB
1 DB Power Snatch heavy L
25 m L arm waiters carry - same DB
30 sec forced rest
7:18 with #45 dumbbell. There weren't any dumbbells available between #45 and #65, and I wasn't quite sure enough on my left arm with the #65 to go for it. Will make sure I increase weight if this comes up again though. The snatches were too easy and I ended up jogging the later rounds of waiters walks to make it tougher to keep steady.
***Today is the first day in a long time that I felt GREAT during a workout***+
