At Crossfit Durham with Ashley Denton...one of the first girls I ever competed against at the 2010 sectionals. We got our first muscle ups together at the 2010 Dirty South Regionals!
She was doing a bit of testing today. Find 1RM Front Squat and 1RM Deadlift.
Front Squat - #200 (PR!), then Failed at #205. Never got out of the bottom with it.
Deadlift - worked up to #285. My form was good, but I felt like it would have started to break down with more weight, so I stopped there. Definitely an improvement over my #275 DL with bad form a couple of weeks ago.
Pretty happy with this, esp considering my legs were sore from 100 pistols the day before. It was great to work out with somebody who kicks my ass, too. Ashley front squatted #215 and deadlifted #300. She has a #280 backsquat, and an awesome booty.
A nice PR & nice deadlift. Sounds like the "She" programming along with some of the supplemental stuff we've worked on is paying off.
