Vaca Workout #1 (Aug 15th)

Done at Crossfit Beacon in Portland, ME!

10 mins Softball Toss (L&R) - wow I sucked at this. I didn't make it through the hole in the giant tractor tire even ONCE!

5min AMSAP L-sit - I did raised bent knee holds on the rings and racked up 2:30 in the 5 mins. I can do an L-sit on the rings, but the goal was to hit 3mins in 5mins so I was shooting for that.

10 Rounds
10 Jumping AIr Squats to Target
10 Abmat Situps
 9:00 - tough workout, and I couldn't do the airsquats as fast as I thought I would be able to. I nearly fell on my butt trying to go too fast in the beginning. I got beat by quite a few of the other people in the class. It was a simply but good workout

  1. Looks like a fun one.
    If L sits are a weakness, you might work them in now and then as part of a warm up or skill portion.
    :10 at a time, or :30 or whatever. I really like them, actually. Keep the neck long, the shoulders down, you'll get your shoulders and abs beat up pretty good.
