5 @ 75%
3 @ 85%
1 @ 95%
all percentages of 90% of 1RM. I used #285 from last weekend as my 1RM

#245 x 9 - Pretty happy with this. Could have done more reps but wanted to keep my form solid and tight. All the reps were touch and go, breath at the top.
Back to OPT today...going to work with the blog this week instead of behind and see how it goes. I even woke up early today in case it was a double, as last wed was! I'm having some stress at home getting the house finally ready to show plus working OT to make up for vacation time, but I have good plans to relax and nerd out on some video games this weekend :)
Also just a side note - I asked Lance and Mike (Owner and Gen Manager) if they had any coaching slots for me at the gym because I've been feeling kind of socially isolated working out by myself or with just Dulce. We had a little banter about it where they told me to just 'come to class' again and made some good points about what I'm missing out on comraderie wise. I miss working out with people. It was awesome at Operator that you let me work out at the same time as the class because I still got to socialize with everyone. They didn't have a slot for me to coach in (my main goal of wanting to do it again was to get back in meeting people, my second was to get a little financial relief) but assured me that already having my cert and a year's experience puts me top of the list when they do need a body.
Sounds good. You know your routine, so get back to it. Nerd out and decomp a little, and get back into the training.
ReplyDeleteI'm unclear on the side note. Have you decided that you WILL be going to class? Are you going to work in UCF programming, or are you just telling me about your conversation?
