Burpees felt awesome. I screw up my dubs every time I look at the timer. Rows waffled based on how fast I transitioned.

Wednesday Workout

Muscle Up Practice: Did 4 reps during warmup. The first two were solid and easy. The second two I was trying to get out of the way of somebody so I didn't rest long enough. I didn't pull high and ended up with my left fist through the ring again but was able to correct and dip up. On the first rep I felt so solid that I was careful coming down out of it and tried for a second rep. My hands slipped just a little too far down to be able to make it back up a second time, but I feel like getting two in a row is within my realm of capability and will happen soon!

as many rounds/reps in 10 min:5 power snatch - 95/65#20 double unders

10 + 4
GRIP again! Mine was shot from T2B + weeding, hoeing, and planting my garden yesterday. Snatches were TnG and unbroken, but a bit slow. Only had 2 or 3 rounds of unbroken double unders.

Wednesday Workout

Did some handstand practice before the workout. Against the wall (facing towards and away) and them some handstand walk practice. I feel like my control with my hands is slowly improving.

"unbroken 4.0"

for time:
50 wall balls unbroken
50 double unders unbroken
40 wall balls unbroken
50 double unders unbroken
30 wall balls unbroken
50 double unders unbroken
20 wall balls unbroken
50 double unders unbroken
10 wall balls unbroken
50 double unders unbroken

37:38

Wallballs were "unbroken" ie, I didn't drop the ball. There was LOTS of rest, and quite a few DU screwups. The last 10 mins of the workout was me trying to get my last set of dubs. I made it to 46, then to the 20's about 3 times before finally getting to 50.

50 is obviously still a number I'm struggling with, but this practice was well worth it - I learned some things about how I hold the handles of the jump rope and how to get the rope spinning faster again when I start to lose momentum.

Wednesday Workout

Visited the chiropractor this morning and had my left shoulder worked on. Felt better and more locked out overhead during the workout today, which I attribute to my magical 15 mins with Dr. Max.

Workout:
A1. Standing Press @ 12X1; 2-3 x 4; rest 20 sec
A2. CTB chin Ups - 15 unbroken x 4; rest 3 min
+
4 sets:
10 burpees AFAP
25 double unders AFAP
rest 45 sec

A1. 75(3)/85(3)/85(3)/90(3)
A2. 9+4+2/10+4+1/10+3+2/DNS

Presses were fine, didn't go for the last set of C2Bs because I was starting to rip. Did them all pronated.

Burpees felt great, first set of dubs was unbroken, then my shoulders gave me a big 'FY' and the dubs tanked. I wasn't even tripping most of the time, the rope was just sort of losing speed and slapping lamely against my toes.
