Sunday Workout


A. Power Snatch - 3,3,3,3,3; rest 5 min
+
as many rounds in 20 min:
Power Snatch - 115/75# x 5
10 KBS - 1.5/1 pd
Push Press - 115/75# x 5
10 Box Jumps - 30"

A. #73/78/83/88/93 - felt solid until the last rep, which felt a little unsteady. Focused on keeping weight in heels, tight core, and loose arms to avoid early pull. Here is a mashup vid of the last 3 sets:

Kind of had to make shift it in my garage today. Did 45lb kb swings for 5 reps instead of 10 at 1pd. Box jump was not quite 30 inches, and my snatch and push press weight was too heavy the first round. But did 5 reps short of 8 rounds on this one.

  1. You need to work on footwork with Dulce. Jump and land. Her feet look like they are glued in place. After a few reps, she starts to get assy with the movement, and her reset is wearing her out. She's coming down too slowly, and bending over with the bar. All that adds up to fatigue, and that means shitty or missed lifts, or injury.
    Yours were fine from what I saw.
