Wednesday, Dec 26th

Well, it's back to normal life already! As soon as I unpacked after arriving home today the first thing I did was crank on the portable heater in the garage and get into a workout. Really felt good after sitting in a plane all day, plus the two days of gluten free sweets, wine, and conventional meat over the holiday that had me feeling gross (though I did manage to eat haddock 3 times and shellfish twice! #MaineSeafood!)

I've noticed that with the combination of not working out and eating less-than-great, my emotions often get away from me and I start to feel a little depressed. This was especially the case going through the holidays and seeing family I don't usually get to see, noticing who is missing this year, and being away from friends and others that I hold dear. In a way, it's making me look forward to the next few months of greater self control and discipline because I know I will be happier and more in control of my emotions (New Years goals post to come soon!).

A. 60s first round, then 20s sets for the rest. Total time of 8:15
BBJ's and AD - 10:56 total time. Finished the BBJ's at 5min flat. Pushed my old AD as hard as I could after!
Subbed 800m run for row since I have no rower at home - 3:56, pretty happy with that considering I ran outside in the dark (lighting in my neighborhood is horrible). My cat joined me for the first and last stretch near the house.
