Sunday, Jan 6th


first made up the HSPU negatives from Friday. 30 x 4sec down. Not sure how long this took me as I got a phone call in the middle of it, but I did it in sets of 2's with a kip in between which is better than I did when we did it in testing in Nov.

A. Snatch balance 2, 2, 2, 2, 2; rest 2 min
B. Power snatch x1/Hang power snatch from below the knee x1/Hang power snatch x1/Hang squat snatch x1- 1 complex on the min for 10 min

15 min amrap:
25 CTB chin ups
50 double unders
25 knees to elbow
50 double unders
25 toes to bar
50 double unders
...AMRAP squat clean in remaining time 95#

A. #103, #113, #123, #128, #133 - no misses! Was glad to get two at #133 as I had missed that last time. WIll push it up some more in weight next time. Felt solid and fast. Biggest form issue seemed to be letting my feet get a little too wide.
B. #63x2, #73x4, #83x4 - still tracking myself on hip rise. Felt good here and was breathing fairly hard for the last couple of sets.

made it through the reps with all DU's unbroken (Def a big PR for me! Never done sets of 50's unbroken!) and had 6:15 left on the clock. Hit 35 squat cleans in that remaining time. Legs were on fire for the last minute! The CTBs, KTKs, and TTBs all done in sets of 5. Biggest limiter was grip and keeping that kip going (which I managed for most of the reps).
