Today was the last day of Low Carb. Weighed in 4lbs lighter overall this morning. Celebrated after the workout at Quincy's first birthday party. Had some cake and candy, cider and beer. Will certainly have a carb/gluten/sugar hangover tomorrow...

I was confused on whether we were doing this with a timecap or not...anything over about 25 mins seems unlikely to crop up in either the opens or regionals, so on this workout I was shooting to PR my filthy fifty time and then see how fast I could add a third round. Any additional work done before 45 mins was not my priority. Some folks finished and were in the range of 50-60 mins but I did not see the benefit of continuing.

1st Rnd: 10:15
2nd Rnd: 12:10
3rd Rnd 15:15
FInished the second round (filthy fifty) at 22:25 and finished 3 rnds at 37:40. I went ahead and worked until the 45 min mark, finishing through the fourth round of K2Es. I decided to call it quits at that point as I was moving really slowly and wasn't getting anything out of the workout anymore. Assuming my 22:25 time was valid for the filthy fifty (give or take some times lost in transitions vs. lost to doing the 50 reps all together?) it would have been more than a 5min PR from the last time I did it a couple of years ago. Pretty happy with that! Did the Jumping PUll-ups, kbs, lunges, push press, back extensions, and DUs all unbroken. Burpees were slow and wall balls turned into sets of 5 very quickly.
